Board Vice President

Chris Grillo is a seasoned leader, decorated veteran, and dedicated advocate for the military community. A former U.S. Navy SEAL, he served for more than a decade and continues his service as a commander in the U.S. Navy Reserve. During his time on active duty, Chris led multiple overseas deployments as a SEAL squad commander, troop commander, and operations officer for the Navy’s Tier 1 SEAL Team. His service has earned him some of the military’s highest honors, including a Bronze Star Medal and two Defense Meritorious Service Medals, among others.

Beyond his military career, Chris combines elite leadership experience with financial expertise. He holds an MBA in finance and management from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in quantitative economics from the United States Naval Academy. He currently serves as the lead operator for The Partners Group, a private equity firm.

A passionate advocate for veterans, Chris is committed to supporting and empowering those who have served. He plays an active role in military-focused nonprofits, including Colorado Veterans Project, The Commit Foundation, The Navy SEAL Foundation, American Corporate Partners, and The Honor Foundation.
