Deb Dufour

Executive Director (and Board Secretary)

A Colorado native, Deb Dufour proudly served the US Navy at various locations, including deployments to Southeast Asia, Kuwait, the USS Cape Cod and finally Naval Amphibious Base Coronado in San Diego. Discharging from active duty in 1993, Deb left the military to join the private sector in the telecommunications industry. Deb resides in Centennial and serves as the Managing Director of Nereus Cyber Systems LLC. A strong advocate for veterans, Nereus Cyber Systems provides Deb the opportunity to pursue both her professional career and her passion for volunteerism in service to veterans. In 2016, Deb connected with the Colorado Veterans Project. As a veteran herself, she felt a deep connection to the organization and committed to supporting its mission.

Over the past six years, Deb has been an active event volunteer, offering her expertise in operational processes when needed. In 2021, she began coordinating volunteers, and by 2022, she assumed the role of Volunteer Coordinator before being elected as the Board Secretary. In 2025, Deb transitioned into a fractional Executive Director role, where she is excited to further the organization’s mission of improving veterans’ lives by focusing on career and employment opportunities.

Deb's mission is to contribute to the organization's future growth by fostering strategic relationships that connect employment training with major employers who support veterans.
